Welcome, EI/ECSE Providers!
Join our PLC! All our region's early intervention and early childhood professionals are welcome to join those in Multnomah, Clackamas, Hood River, and Wasco counties. This year, we will also partner with the NW Regional Program. If you would like to join the PLC and be added to our contact list to receive periodic email updates, send a message to Katie Byerly at kbyerly@pps.netPurpose: In collaboration with Columbia Regional and Clackamas ESD, we formed this PLC as a venue for early childhood professionals to connect, share resources, obtain professional development, and support one another on problems of practice.
VIRTUAL MEETING DATES AND TIMES
The PLC will meet approximately every six weeks from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM (some meetings may run up to 2 hours with discussion). The following dates are scheduled for this 2024-25 school year:
10/4/24: Assessing Play (part one)- Jennifer Stepken
11/15/24: Expanding Play (part two)- Jennifer Stepken and Katie Byerly
1/10/25: Cartoon Connections: Communication Styles Of Your Favorite Characters- Avital Rosenfeld & Maggie Difazio
2/7/25: Supporting Autistic Learners Through The Lens of Applied Educational Neuroscience- Jessica Reamon
4/11/25: Supporting Executive Function Skills For Young Learners-Katie Byerly
