Regional Inclusive Services' TBI liaisons serve as conduits of information between hospitals and schools when a student returns to the classroom following an injury. TBI liaisons provide technical assistance with regard to TBI evaluations and eligibility determinations, IFSP/IEP development, and provision of services and accommodations.
Liaisons also coordinate professional development, interface with designated TBI contacts in districts across each region and meet with fellow liaisons and related stakeholders across the state.
For students eligible under the category of TBI who have been referred to Regional Inclusive Services, TBI liaisons provide individualized consultation, coaching, and provide instructional recommendations as requested by school-based and early childhood professionals.
