Sign Language Interpreting

  • asl logo Columbia Regional Program's DHH provides sign language interpreting services per district requests.

    Students who would like to request sign language interpreting services for school sponsored activities occurring outside of the regular school day must request those services using the Sign Language Interpreter Form (Fillable form).

    Directions for Completing the Form

    Complete the form by providing all requested information. Please note that missing or incorrect information will increase the processing time of your request.

    If the interpreter request is for an recurring event (e.g., athletics, theater productions, overnight weekend activity) it is helpful to provide a copy of the event schedule.

    Students under 18 years old must have a parent sign the request.

    Students who are 18 years and older may sign the request for themselves.

    How long will it take to process the request? 

    Columbia Regional program must contact the student's school district for approval before arranging for any extra curricular interpreting services, so please allow approximately 5-7 school day to process your request.
